Lammastide marks the beginning of the harvest. Traditionally it starts on August 1st. In Lancashire the Harvest Festival would always feature a loaf of bread in the shape of a sheaf of corn. This candle is made from beeswax and a rich golden colour. Harvest time or Harvest Home is a time of blessing, wealth, richness and joy.
The sheaf candle measures 13cms in height.
