This stone was used in the 1960’s and 70’s in Scandinavian mid century modern jewellery.
Rose quartz is pink to dark pink in colour. It derives its name from its colour. Beads of this stone has been found as far back as 7000BC. This stone was considered magical even then by the Greeks, Egyptians and Romans. In medieval times this stone was used for healing.
Rose quartz assists with balancing emotions, promotes harmony, peace, comfort and love.
The adjustable shank is made from nickel free pewter coloured metal. The face of the ring measures around 28-30 mm across.
