Tigers Eye large Mid Century Modern gemstone charm ring.
This stone was used in the 1960’s and 70’s in Scandinavian mid century modern jewellery.
Tigers Eye is a golden brown colour and its name comes from the similarity to that is the eye of the big cat. Roman soldiers wore Tigers Eye into battle on their armour. This stone was through to ward off the evil eye.
Tigers Eye is believed to assist with protection, self confidence, strength and positivity.
The adjustable shank is made from nickel free pewter coloured metal. The face of the ring measures around 28-30 mm across.
